It might be ok to do it that way....if you want the rust to come back and continue spreading through the rest of the roof.....I guess it would depend on what your definition of ok is !!!!! The bad spots need to be cut out and replaced with new metal. It's a lot more work, but it's the right way to do it.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
