    Inline Air Filter at the Gun

    I have 2 air control units attached to my lines. The routing is as follows:

    Compressor --> 6ft hose --> Air/Oil separator unit --> 25ft --> Sharpe f88 Air control unit --> 25ft --> Gun

    Would I still have to put in an inline air filter at the gun?

    Thanks!

    I always use those disposable filters that you can buy at the auto paint supply places. Maybe I don't need them, but I see it as one extra safeguard.

    I always figure a disposable filter in on a paint job. Saves a few headaches in the humidity around here.

    I quit using them due the loss of air volume.
