CustomDept, I have done what you suggested and it works, but its not the same as seeing it up close and in the flesh. Mingo, if I do this the whole car is going to be flat black, or gloss black. The car has the original black paint, and really needs a new paint job. When we scuff the old paint we will just sand the chrome down at the same time, and paint the whole car the same black color, only masking off the lights, glass and plastic lenses. This isn't ever gonna be a show car so I might as well have fun with it. Here is a pic of my car as it currently looks CustomDept, you seem skilled with PhotoShop, so go ahead and black my car out if you want. I actually would appreciate it. I have had other folks PhotoShop it here on CHR before, but never completely black it out. If you are interested, here you go...Please look below for more about my car...

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
