Compressor questions
Hey all - I did a search and came up with nothing I could use - that and my search skills aren't the best!
I am looking to buy an air-compressor. Basicaly my plan is to buy old body panels or motorcycle parts and practice painting on them. Teach myself.
So I am in need on some advice on air-comressors. CFM, HP, ect - things to look for. Also I know (or believe) I will need some sort of dryer/filter inline between the compressor and spray gun - advice there would be helpful too.
Gun recomoendations are always helpful - I have bought many of the so called "paint your car" books but they don't really spend too much time on equipment and what they do seems to be outdated. Maybe I am reading the wrong books?
Thanks

Get the biggest compressor you can afford. I would opt for a two stage compressor with at least an 80 gallon tank. Air dryers for a paint system start at $100.00, and go on up into the thousands.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
