You think you're slow? I've had my '59 Big Window PU for over thirty years; it is now in the early stages of it's third re-incarnation. Admittedly, there have been other cars and projects scattered in among the years, but ------. Right now, it's my son's '69 Torino that's occupying time, with a broken engine.

Sounds to me as if you are on track for a nice build. And there ain't nothin' wrong with a Dana 60; they're tough, possibly more so than a 12 bolt or 9 Incher, just different.
