Welcome Greasy,
All depends on what you want the Firechicken to do. With my 79 the 403 was rebuilt with competition pistons cam and heads. put wider tires on the back and redid the paint original platinum. This was a daily driver and the engine was a big mistake rebuilding that way. Too much torque and power, evertime we took off from a stop the littlest acceleration would break the tires loose. this would have been great for a strip car with the power, but not on the street.
So tell us what you want to use it for and what you currently have going and we can help you out some more1949 Plymouth Club Coupe Still in pieces.
