From looking at the picture it is apparent the mounting set up used the old style with mounts on the bellhousing. I would try to find another similar truck, or visit the library to see if an old Chilton's or Motor manual might have illustrations. Those front mounts are certanly different than the usual U shaped mounts that small block Chevies use. It makes me wonder if there was a V-6 in there.
