Oh yes, now that I look at the pic, it indeed did have a V8 in it, the dual exzaust pipes are still hanging ( unless you put those there ), a 6cyl even with headders would have both pipes coming off 1 side. I do belive Mildon makes the mounts for SBC, other company's too but I remember seeing mildon SBC engine mounts.Originally posted by J.D. Burke
Thanks to all. The 1960 P/U did originally come with a 6 cyl., but supposedly had been converted to a V-8 at one time. When I bought it, it was empty, so I don't know for sure.
Most of the motor mounts that I have seen will not work. I need the part that mounts on the supports in the engine bay.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
