New old guy
Just joined the club. I have been building and driving neat cars since 1958, when I put a lincoln motor in a 53 ford.
Just sold a 55 ford with 350350, currently have a 56 Ford hardtop with a 302 and AOD. Just started with a basket case 55 bird, decided today to put a 350 in it (it is missing too much stuff to restore, besides anyone can restore one......etc.

Welcome to CHR mate ! we are all car mad here, as if you have'nt allready guessed. You will probably meet up with Don Shilady soon, he is the proffesor in these forums, it sounds like your interests and ages are pretty close.

on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
