Hi i'm Shad down in Georgia. I have a 1971 el camino ss that I am in the process of restoring. When I got the thing it was totally trashed, but I can't stand to see a classic rust away, so i saved it. My only problem thus far is that I can't decide what kind of fuel system to put on it. I have a full roller 350, with 1971 LT1 double hump heads. I also have a 1990 tuned port injection system that i would love to put on it, i just wonder about all of the pain and heartache it will cause. I know nothing about fuel inj. , so if anyone has any opinions i would like to hear them.

Welcome aboard, Ben. I used to live in Bonney Lake, WA (1990-1999) Love the weather there (compared to the Iowa Winters). But couldn't afford to live there anymore on my retirement.
Sounds like you are coming right along with the El Camino. Enjoy.Duane S
