Just a little info,
Been a member of yahoo groups thisoltruck for a while and looking to branch out a little. I have a
'48 Dodge truck I've been working on for about a year and still working hard on it. Not sure wether to go with the standard 350 chevy or stick with MOPAR.

and about the engine... I'd stick that 4.7 L, out of that Dakota Quad in it.
or find you a newer dodge, cheap ( body damage at salvage ) and switch out the computer/motor "and amaze your friends" :eek: :D

Your considering putting a GM mill in that sweet little pickup? Did you ever consider an early hemi, or at least a sb mopar?

Thanks for the replies! I decided to go with a Mopar motor, maybe not a hemi, since they are so hard to find in my price range! I do have a 360 (needs total rebuild) for it tho. Have gotten alot of parts from friends as well. Hopefully, I can contribute some info for this group.:3dSMILE:Quote:
