Other than the drive train, there are some subtle changes that have been made to the car. It has 1929 Ford headlights and tail lights and 1931 DeSoto bumpers (the 1930 bumpers were split like 28-29 Ford). The original grille had these ugly vertical louvers that you could open or close to adjust air going to the original honeycomb radiator. They were removed and replaced by expanded metal to cover the custom aluminum radiator. An Ididit steering column with banjo wheel goes to a power rack and pinion steering system. The only thing I would have wanted differently is possibly an OD transmission.
