Cool New Old Guy From Oklahoma

    Hello guys and gals,

Grew up around cars, my dad owned an auto supply and both my brothers were into cars and racing. I’ve had my Tbucket since 1979 and in 1980 I graduated from college and moved to Houston. The car has never seen another owner, I’m the original and can’t see me ever selling it. Meet my future wife there and in 1983 moved back to OKC where I’m from.

With kids and life getting in the way, I didn’t drive the car for 15 years, 2000 - 2015. The engine needed a rebuild, the rear main seal was leaking pretty bad. In 2010 I started planning a new engine build, but by the time it was going to be finished it would have been too cold to drive it. So, I started building a 200-4R which has a 0.67 overdrive. I had never been inside an automatic before then, so it took lots of research and planning again. I bought all my parts and followed the book written CK Performance so that it would be able handle the power coming from my new engine.

The new engine was going to be a 400 cuin SBC with a Dart SHP block, Brodix IK200 heads and a Crower roller hydraulic camshaft giving me 236°/240° duration at .050 and a lift of 562/567.

Most of my major projects are done, so I’m looking for a place to hang-out, talk about building engines and help others. Love to run computer simulations with my Dynomation 6 for others and build Excel spreadsheets to calculate or track just about anything. Just let me know what you want !!!

Welcome, sounds like you'll be fun to have around and I'm loving the T bucket. There's good people here.

Welcome Aboard. Nice to see you here.
Judging by the puddle at the left front tire... I'm guessing the dog didn't think much of the ride! Just funnin' with ya. Nice looking ride!

When people comment on the keg, I tell them it has a parition in the middle. It's half gas and half beer. The driver needs fuel also !

No, I don't believe we've met before. Sometimes I become the resident "class clown"..

When I noticed the pup... and the puddle... I couldn't help myself. We used to be a much larger group. But with the larger size, there were more "disagreements", that is pretty rare now. So we all check in and try and help folks with their projects. We all like spending your money!!
