Nice YJ! Those flat fenders look great! A very capable trail rig, for sure! Down in low-low that straight 4 will climb a tree! I need to put some fenders like that on my '05 TJ!Roger

Curious, did you build the flat fenders or are they an aftermarket part? I could probably find something with a bit of searching, but it's easy to ask since yours look so good! You're a bit of a hike from there, but have you taken the YJ to MOAB? Mine's been there twice, and in the SW Colorado area several times, too. MOAB is AMAZING! That sound of the big tires on the slickrock climbing a steep grade is one you don't forget!Last edited by rspears; 08-13-2022 at 11:05 AM.

I bought them from TNT customs out of Wyoming. I used to go down to Moab like 20 years ago, last time I went was about 8 years ago in a cherokee I no longer have. Still friends with a lot of people well known around here in the Jeep community. Here is a couple old 35mm shots.

Golden Crack? I was there in 2008, smaller tires back then! Your pic is better, but I've got the memory, too!

Not any huge updates on the 40, we did get the engine recammed and changed out many other things, it's all back together and just waiting for body parts to start going back on, I also need to get in there and touch up the frame where we chipped and scratched up the paint.

Started moving all the panels around the paint booth getting ready for epoxy primer, tomorrow we will start cleaning out the dust, wiping everything down etc. Shop got a new air compressor and some new spray gun items so we are close, time and good weather is all we need. Look forward to seeing paint get put down but I know we have our work cut out with sanding/bodywork... Also I went ahead and got some gear vendors on order.
