    They have some cool crippers with solder in there for a soldered joint once the wire is crimped, you hit it with the iron, and then flame the housing to get the shrink wrap tight around the wire, saw some at Napa auto parts a few years ago!

    your talking about 6 volt system and MAYBE converting to 12 volt or NOT???? Remember that the higher voltage electrical systems don't take as big a wires( more volts, less amps )and that lighter GUAGE wires (thinner) have bigger numbers-old rule of thumb was how many to equal one inch????
