    Another Newbie

Hi everyone, just another newbie here. I'm 44 and have been riding Harleys for almost 15 years now. I've always wanted to buy an old car and I finally did. She's a 41 Chevy Special Deluxe. The previous owner added a Chevy 305 with a 350 tranny. The wiring is totally dogged so this Friday night I decided to pull the wiring apart and attempt to fix it.
Well that's about it for now.

Welcome! Sounds like you're off to a good start with the Chevy. Post some pictures when you have a chance!

You may find that a complete kit from one of the many wiring circuit manufacturers will be the simplest and most cost effective solution.

Yep, I agree with Tech. There are a bunch of good wiring kits out there, and using one will make your task a lot easier. Just get one that labels every conductor every few feet, and that uses a bunch of different insulation colors, too. Makes it much, much easier than sorting through a bunch of black wires looking for the one you need, and makes troubleshooting later easier, too.
