    Newbee from Norfolk Nebraska

Hi Hot Rodders, this looks like a cool site with alot of neat stuff on it. I have a 1926 Ford Model T, Ford stroker engine 389cu with ford motorsport jerico 4speed 583 horses. I run a 28spline 9 inch in the rear with 72 pinto leaf springs. The front end is coil over with 62 cobra tubular a-arms and the 72 pinto rack n pinion. The frame is my own home build 3" channel iron welded with 6013 arc weld. i chopped the top 4 inches with a sawzall and a torch and coat hangers. She's a low buget build compared to most standards of today. I originaly built it for a vintage dirt stock car. Tghose plans got changed in the middle of the build with the car club comming up with rule changes against a homade frame. So I basicly had no choice but to turn it into a street machine after that ya know. The car has always worked well and last year it ran 10.30 at 129mph 1/4 mile at the strip. She sees alot of street miles and 2 lane racing lol. Shes sorta like a lady of the night , meaning she looks flawless from across the street, but when you get up close you can see her flaws haha.

The Columbus show is usually in June... Real casual and laid back but always a bunch of great people...... My Ranchero is far from done, just sitting in storage waiting for some attention.

Yeah the ol torch and coat hanger works pretty good Charlie, I like it because on rusty stuff you can pull the heat and not blow through so bad. But that chop top took me lots of hours I will admit that lol.

Yes sir, it runs pretty good. Right now it's in pieces. I decided to put a built auto in it to go play with Dmaxes.
