New guy from CT but not new to hot rods
Hey, My name is Big Jim born & raised east coast style. Been into car's (since birth I think) if not; not long after. I'm am currently working on a 34 tudor that I'm un-street rodding and making it more of a hot rod. It's a glass car (not everyone can afford real steel). I've been tinkering with cars for years but I don't claim to know everything in fact I ask a lot of questions. After all that's how one learns. I consider myself one of the luckiest guys on the planet because my whole family is crazy for cars. A future project is a 33 Chevy coupe for the wife. With 2 projects I had to pick one and the sedan can fit more people plus it is farther along than the wife's coupe. I'm also a novice welder, fabricator, & metal finisher. I love to tinker & work with my hands! I custom make aluminum emblems & plaques. I do custom resin casting in 1/8th scale as well as some full size stuff like clear, red, and amber lenses (yeah I'm pretty diverse). Looking forward to participating.
