They did not have little cars like that back when I was at the track every Saturday night. What happened in the last 10 years??

Seems to me if these guys want their little cars to go fast they would save lots of money with a SB Chevy and go even faster. They also crank these little engines up to like 999 million RPM's so I know they are working on them all the time.

I know what you mean about liking what you like. I just seem to like things more when they're wrapped in a bow tie.... Seriously though, I'm into all kinds of stuff as well. I would love to have an old Willy's coupe with a big ol' Hemi under the hood. There, I did it, I gave MOPAR credit....my shrink will be so proud!!

Anyway, I have to agree with you about the ricer thing...they could go a lot faster with a SBC, but I guess it's all about the look and I guess they like what they like too. I guess that there is something to be said for taking a 4 banger and getting a lot of ponies out of it, but it aint what I'm into . Anyway, I think you'll enjoy the stay here.

BTW, what years were your Firechicken, Chevelle and Vette?
