    The new AZ guy!!!!!!!!!

I hope this car fits in as a Hot rod?

My name is Chad and this is my 1st classic car... I used and still do hardcore rockcrawling(with a jeep like buggy) so I do alot of offroading as well...

I know most hot rod guyz don't like the word rat rod but I thing they are bad ass!!! I have a few buddy now building them so we all can shoot the cruz....

So I have no idea about hot rod club but I learn as I go ... So this is were I start to meet some new cool people to talk car and go to events!!

I just saved a 1968 Lincoln Continental from going to the junk yard for parts!!!!

Its black and rust color...LOL It came from back east so its got alot of rust... Lots of body work to be done!!!! I got it running and have been repaceing lots of good stuff...

I will start my 1st real paint job on this car in the next few months... Flat back with 3inch white walls for now and go from there....

This lincoln does have a 462 7.6L motor so it does lay down some rubber!!!

Anyway hope to meet you all soon...

    Chad

Welcome to the forum, Chad. Very cool old Lincoln, you don't see those every day. Have fun fixing it up.

Welcome, yet another AZ guy. I have an old car with suicide doors as well, but it is a 1937. Good save on the Lincoln.

    Greetings Chad!

Nice ride, didn't Commander Cody have a song "Hot Rod Lincoln"?
...at least I'm enjoying the ride!
