We need more pontiac guys on here. Why run a holley on that 455? It begs for a 750 or 800 QJet and when it is built and tuned right it will get better milage than the holley. Get a copy of Cliff Ruggles book " How to build and modify Quadra jet Carbs".

thanks for the info. here is a little info the engine is a 1976 455 block and the transmission is a TH-400....both were rebuilt....I've got paper work for the cam and stuff like that.......they have less than 5000 miles on the build....engine has a single plane manifold that's been HPC coated, has Holley 670 street demon carb, Mallory unilite conversion distributor, Mallory promaster coil (under the dash) Taylor spark plug wires...It has a 140 amp single wire Alternator...a dual battery set up here is a pic of her love the car just wish i could get he running the right she's ready to get out of the garage.
