    New from Louisiana

    Hi folks,

Wanted to drop a line to say hi and introduce myself.
My ride is a 1960 GMC w/ 305 V-6 and Hydramatic, bone stoke with all the available options, including some rarer ones. She getting her cost on this week and I hope to have her ready for the summer cruise season. Since it’s factory stock and not a hotrod, I suppose I don’t really fit in with this group YET.

You tube of motor run in.

However, I’m getting ready to grab a 1958 GMC Step (LOVE THAT GRILL) and hot rod the hell out it. 350/400 combo and power everything. Any others members with a ’58 and can take a peek at?

When I’m not playing with the truck I work as Supt. at a Public Water Plant. And on the side I own a custom scale modeling business.
Here is a link to see the ride and work we’ve done on models.

We can do models of just about EVERYTHING. I’ll have a Ton of questions I’m sure

Welcome. The truck looks great, as does the motor. The models are very cool. I have an Italian version, all wood planked U.S.S Constitution that I picked up, used, open, but mostly intact from a antique dealer up north, for 13 bucks! I've never worked on it, figuring I'd learn on a smaller cheaper sail boat first! I've had it for 20 years now, just bidding my time for the right amount op patience, time and space. The rigging alone looks like a night mare to do!
