    Whip-
I think the sence of humor thing is a good thing for most forums to have.
You just can't always get across in type exactly what you mean every time, and sometimes that can lead to issues. I'm on another machinist site and it always seems like one of the postings gets sideways over something, and its not even by the guy who started the post!
Anyway, My background is mechanical engineering. I have a full machine shop at my house with a CNC mill, Lathe, Tig, Mig and the support tools.
This is my second rod that I built. The first was a model A. Had that for about 22 years but I really wanted a duce. So, here I am.

Thanks for getting back to us Sid. Heck sounds like an awesome workshop you have to to play in when there is nothing on TV. Please tell us novice types about that engine in your '32 as at first I thought Weber's but now I think some form of injection. Also 22 years to own your first rod is excellent and you will have to post some photos of it on here too please.
I hope you have room for the fridge for the adult beverages out in the workshop????

    Whip-

    Here is my old '30:

Here's a couple of my shop:

You are kind of right about the Webbers. The induction is made up of various parts that I put together. They are TWM throttle bodies, based on Webber IDAs
on top of a blue thunder manifold, on top of a 514 (a bored & stroked 460)
ford motor. The ECM is form Elecromotive. It controls the injection, ignition (that's why no distributor and the wires come from the back) and fan.
The wires from the back confuse a lot of people. They think they are looking at a bbc.

1Gary- Do you ever go to the Syracuse Nationals? If you see me there, I'll give you a ride. Actually, the machine work for my engine was done in Rochester by Matt @ ProFormance. Matt is a BBFord guy so I went out there.
