New here from Arizona
Hello everyone. My name is Michael and I have a '49 Ford Custom Club Coupe with a full race '50 Mercury flathead v8. Gold exterior, soon to be Candy Apple Red with GoldLeaf scallops. (I think)
I look forward to learning alot from you folks and am glad to join.

Actually, I can send about all the pictures you'd ever want of a '49 Coupe with a Merc. flatmotor in it.
She's been to several show/shines and she's gotten a couple trophys too.
All PM's welcome.
Let's face it, I got a million questions on this car and the care N feeding of such things too. I'm sure the "new's gonna wear off me pretty quick".
I love this car and can't wait to learn everything possible about her.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
