    Sayn' hi from NC

Name's Bill and i'm located in Race City,Mooresville,Nc and i'm looking at building a rod. I've had a ton of cars in my 57 years,Vette's,Camaro's,Mustangs,RoadRunner and so on but never an
older car such as a 32,33,34 Ford and others like a 41 Willy's.Anyway, that's what i'm lookin into now. I have a 308 Ferrari that i've completely gone thru and she's a beauty but my wife doesn't like it,she's more in to older cars,so you see how my direction has changed. Don't get me wrong, i'm not a nose in the air, wine and cheese type,i just always wanted a car like Thomas Magnum (Magnum PI) and i bought one and restored it (82 model GTSI)and i love it.Just want to change directions a little, and maybe on this forum i can get some ideas and info to move forward with a project. I hope thru my many years of experience i may also contribute to others and possibly help with their projects.
May God Bless America and let the fun begin.

Thanks for the welcome,Jyardgirl, tried to upload the only 2 pics i have but failed, assume the file is too big.Sorry.FWIW,she's just like Thomas's car,red with beige spider and 41,000 miles. If you liked Magnum PI,i suppose you saw Chevy Chase's Vaction, where Christie Brinkley was driving the red 308,well, that's my computer's wall paper, with Christie looking right at me!

Welcome Bill from the lower side and what is wrong with cheese and wire may I ask. I suspose what sort of cheese it is but with several glasses of wine (only when one is not driving ofcourse) any cheese would do. Yes I agree with your good wife, Ferrari's are just so common and red too.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I didn't mean any disrespect to wine drinkers or cheese eaters,it's just that i grew up and work with the beer and bar-b-que crowd and if you drive one of them ''furrin'' Italian cars, you are looked at kinda funny and think you're with the ''wine and cheese brigade''.
