Welcome to the site Rick, I don't know what kind of boat you had but I would say you got the best deal unless it was a 40' Yacht able to sleep a dozen people.

Welcome. Nice little coupe you got in that trade. Looks pretty well done, but I understand about you wanting to make it your own and redo some stuff.

Welcome, Snake,
I really like your coupe. Why is it that I never come across goodies like that?
There is probably a story behind most user names. I'd have to say that yours is ........ interesting? I'm not too sure I would want to hear how it came about!
Glad to have you.

Back in 98, I picked up a brand new Trans Am and went straight from the showroom to the race track (break-in be damned)
Ended up pulling a best time of 12.88 @ 107.3mph, beating out a pair of Viper R/T 10's and a built Mustang Cobra
The announcer called me the "SNAKE EATER" over the P.A. and I've been stuck with the name eversince
Sold the car last year, but I still use the same name on hundreds of messageboards

Here's a pic of the boat....
Believe it or not, I only had $5500 into that thing
I got it on a small series of trades on Craigslist
Started off with this minitruck I picked up for $500 bucks...
Flipped it the very next week for $2000, then picked up this one....
Traded it straight up for this Mopar Powered Drag boat...
Had some fun with it, then I found a Mopar car collector that wanted my boat simply because it was Mopar and he had two matching Plum Crazy Purple cars and traded it for the yellow boat
After a few hundred emails inquiring about possible Muscle car and Hot Rod trades, I finally landed the coupe and traded the yellow boat straight up just a couple days ago

I've had a lot of BIG things happening to me lately but now I'm back to working on the car some, it feels good! The tranny mount was bad and that helped put everything back where it should be....
