    Hi from canada

central ontario that is. Used to own a 67 charger 4 speed car. Sold that as mopar perf parts were killing me. Didnt own nothing for quite a few years. Bought a low perf 69 impala, but in good shape. Well as good as an ol canadian car can be. Took out the 327, built a stroker all oriented for torque and throttle response to move the big girl. 270 HR cam,650 AVS carb, air gap RPM,edelbrock 70cc heads,10.5-1 comp.out 1 3/4 headers, to straight 2 1/2 out the side behind the doors. Built my own th350,still got the 8.2 clip rear in er with a twist. I found an eaton posi on the cheap, richmond 373 gears. Moser axles this winter. Aside from my shootin irons to which if I sold I could near own Jay leno's car collection thats about it for me. Building a log cabin on a stone foundation on my remote 100 acres to

Welcome to CHR Sooper. Sounds like a neat old Impala, put up some pics sometime! Those big old sleds take a bunch of torque to move, friend of mine used to bracket race one--not real fast but very consistent!

I've found the days of clearing out a 1/4 mile plus and chewing up the pavement are pretty much gone anyway. The only chance a fella gets to show his stuff on the street nowadays is to have a car that makes low end torque and just sits down squats and lunges from stop light to stop light while junior is daddy's 302 mootang is still wondering what happened. Nobodies expecting the ol girl to move out so smart. It catches em by surprise, plus up here theres more late 60's vets, mootangs and camaros around than there was in the late 60's. Thats why I like the 67 charger and the impala

Welcome to the fold. Nice looking Chevy and the Cragars look just right on it. You are living my dream.............100 acres out in the middle of nowhere. But I would probably have mine filled up with 500 old cars.

my 15$ ebay treat. Some guy put em on low so as to get out of some listing fees I guess. He was figuring they'd probably go to close to 100. He listed them as "embelens"

I dont think many saw em
