    hello from central pa

hey everyone, just thought id drop in and say a friendly hello and introduce myself. im a 20 year old student who actively enjoys cars and building things, from rock crawlers and mud trucks to big blocks and have even done a little work with the dreaded honda... but dont hold that aganst me, ive never owned one. i have respect for most people and their posesions and am always willing to lend a hand. right now ive been sitting on a motor i picked up awhile back and havent messed with it for a couple months but im back to where i can actually finish it up. i scored a 1970 454 from a chevelle ss with the oval port heads, awhile back for a steal and have since been building on it. thus far i have a set of comp cams ultra gold 1.7 rockers, edelbrock rpm airgap intake, new push rod guides, new pushrods, new hydraluic lifters from summit along with a cam .540/.540, chrome moroso high rise valve covers, and anodized gold breathers...(watch out) haha. new valves and valve seat along with a three angle valve job on the stock oval ports. i have all other stock parts to put back on to make it run but id rather take my time and spend the money on parts i actually want. im having a hard time finding a carb i want with manual choke and mechanical secondaries, as well as deciding on an ignition set up. well anyways guys im always looking for deals and stuff so if anyone is parting with their parts please ask me haha. and if anyone is looking for stock mark IV parts just ask also. alrighty fellas, thanks for reading.
