    I saw your "inspiration" car (or one nearly identical to it) on the way to the NSRA nationals in about '77 or '78. We stopped either for gas or lunch (too long ago to remember) and it was at the same exit. It drove by as I was getting out of my car and my camera was out of reach at that moment. I figured I'd get a pic of it at the Nats, but I never saw it again. It is/ was one cool ride.

    The body you are using looks like the Dave Koorey body that I am using on my track-T. Mine does not have the opening right door, but from what I can see, even the floor reliefs are identical. I wonder if Herman's and Koorey used the same buck to make their molds..?

    Anyway, this will be a fun build to watch. Keep those pics coming.
