    1978 Volvo "284" v8

names matt, got a 1978 volvo 264 that ive strapped 2 small blocks into. first one was a 305 from a camaro, that was the fun one. used experimental mounting points and worked fine. but the 2nd one is its current heart, a 355 with the 305 HO heads. best gestimate would be somewhere in the ballpark of 300-350 hp. fast car, built to be a daily driver/ weekend warrior. full IPD suspension, sways, shocks. girling 4 pistons up front and 2 pots on the back. soon to have new brakes, and gonna hopefully get a new 5 speed manual for it. rockin the 700r4 but i want a manual for better gas. this has been a project car of mine for about 5 months now, and i hope to continue to build upon it and make it better and nicer. this is my first real car ive built. enough about the car. i personally like cars, computers, women and money. im going to FCCJ for auto tech, getting ASE cert sometime soon, im an avid gamer, and have a rather open mind and out going personality. i love to learn new things and i learn threw trial and error mostly. if i post something thats wrong, dont jump down my throat for it, i just dont know any better. help me out and ill return the favor someday.

Welcome to CHR Matt, the Volvo sounds neat! Get us up some pics sometime, and good luck with the schooling!
