    Someone used to make a kit for that with all the mounts, headers, etc. I remember seeing it in Hot Rod several years back.

    That would be "Jags That Run" or JTR in the datsun community. A little too expensive for my taste. I may just grab a universal tubular k-member from JEGS and fab up a tranny mount. Should save me a couple hundred. Besides, i'll be starting out with an automatic and ending up with a manual. Forecasting the expensive changeover, I'd like to save money wherever possible. Speaking of which, I need heads and accessories off of a motor with a spun rod or something. Just some cheap stuff I can throw on one of these blocks to get it running...... May try to source that tomorrow. Also, I ended up buying a different body from the guy. Still a good rustless body but with fewer suspension mods and not so nice a fuel cell, but for substantially less dough.
