Got the engine running. Rebuilt the distrib, fuel pump, carb, changed the oil and filter, new plugs, new fuel tank and lines, a little gas and it started up like it was running the whole time. Almost pissed myself when it fired up. I picked up an 8.8 rear out of an explorer and got my suspension ordered from Poises. Went with the "In Da Dirt" for the front and the bolt on adjustable rear leaf setup. Got disc brakes for up front and the rear disc came with the rear end. I need a Dual master cylinder and to order new brake lines. The body is coming off the frame next weekend. I am keeping the Flathead and dressing it up for now. I am setting the car up so when the flathead bites the dust, then a big engine gets to replace it. Going to go with custom smoothies in the front and rear.
