hey koulaide, good lookin car! im going with a weedetr (www.weedetrstreetrod.com) rear end kit for mine and my axle is out of an 01 explorer. for the front i plan on a posies front spring with a reversed eye, which was stated befor. theres a guy that will drop your axle for 200 plus shipping. i plan on using him, unless he seems like a real A-hole when i call him.
below is a pic of a buddy of mines 46 sedan with a 4 inch drop front axle with the posie reverse eye spring (worth an inch extra) up front. the rear is the standard eye weedetr kit with a 9 inch axle. weedetr offers a reverse eye rear spring kit which will lower the rear an additional 1.5 inchs. his engine is a lightly warmed over flathead backed by an m-21. no, its not fast. but it gets the job done and looks and sounds MUCH cooler than any crate engine you could get.
