Hi all,

I am a 16 year old die hard Studebaker nut, and am homeschooled. I am a purist alot of the times, but love customs and hot rods as well. My driver is a 1961 Studebaker Lark 8 deluxe 4 door wagon, with a 259 V8 and a T-86 3 speed with overdrive, going to a dana 44 rear end, that isn't a posi, yet. Its pretty much all original, and I want to keep it stock, save a few parts. But, I am working on a 1962 studebaker lark 4 door sedan, that is going to be a very mild custom, and that is alot of fun. I plan on building me a hot rod sometime, going with a traditional style or rat rod, with a pre war stude of course, lol. I am also planning a long term stude project that is a custom, to a point. I am going to build me a R-3 ( to those who aren't familer with what that is, I can post some specks if wanted.), and I am going to build a water injection set up for it, that is activated by a WOT switch. It will then go into a T-10, coupled with a T-85 3 speed overdrive, then going to a dana 44 twin traction rear. The car will be a 1963 lark wagonaire, that will be a total sleeper. It will look totally stock, down to a soft green paint job, off white wheels, and poverty hub caps. The interior will even have full bench seats with full rubber floor mats like it would usually have from the factory, with the only things hinting of something special will be a factory "please fasten your seatbelt" sticker on the dash, and a disguised hurst 4 speed shifter on the floor. The exaust will exit by a set of dual stainless steel pipes, going through a set of Smitty's glass packs. But, with a sleeper, it gots to sound like one, right? So, I will have a set of mechanical exaust cut outs, going to off spurts next to the 'packs, that will have diffusers and stock mufflers to help quiet it down. But when I flip the switch, it will revert back to the glass packs, straight out the back! Anyway, thats how I wast my time, lol.
