Welcome to the forum, nice intro. Like lots of the others here I also like Studebakers and owned two myself in the early 60's. One was my bone stock daily driver 1953 and the other was also a 53 but had a 283 Chevy in it with Hurst mounts and an adapter plate going to the stock 3 speed. I remember that car the most because I was working on it with a buddy when a neighbor lady came out and told us the news that President Kennedy had been killed. They say you never forget where you were when that event happened and they are right.

I like your plans for the hot rod Stude. When you get going on it shoot us a lot of pictures, we love pictures.

Thanks for the kind welcome guys! Sorry I haven't responded sooner, its been a long week. Once I get started on the project I want to do, if ever(lol) I'll be sure to take pictures. You guys liked the exaust idea? I thought it would be a kick in the pants when some punk in a rice burner pulled up to my "grandpa" wagon, open the exaust and burn him! It'd be priceless to see the look on his face!

Again, thanks for the welcome and the compliments!
