Hi everyone!
I'm located in a little town south of Pittsburgh called Finleyville. I have always wanted a street rod and finally purchased a 'downs' body 32 3 window coupe, got the wifes approval of course! It's a great car and is a real head turner. I think my wife is more 'into' the car than me, which is a good thing. I also own an 08 Roush Mustang. The ride of the 32 and the visibility of the chopped roof is going to take some time to get used to. It is a fun little car though!!
At any rate, I wanted to join a community and learn about street rodding from both those who have been rodding for years, and new rodders. I found this site and joined right away.
I look forward to sharing stories and learning the ropes!
Thanks for having me!
Ron..

Welcome Ron, you came to the right place. There are a lot of good people on here.
ThomasMe: I don't know how to build a hot rod.
Old Hot Rodder: You ever build a model car?
Me:Yeah...
Old Hot Rodder: Well instead of using glue you weld.

Ron, welcome to CHR, from South Central PA. Good to have another Pennsyltuckian here. Lots of great people here with hundreds of years of experience in everything hotrod. My 34 has a 4 inch chopped lid and yeah, it takes some time to get use to it. I love mine but it can be a pain in the neck at times, especially on long hauls when you're tall.Last edited by mopar34; 09-06-2009 at 07:38 PM.

Here's a preview..
Have you called one of the big parts warehouses? Jegs or Summit I'm sure could offer you some direction. I tried some basic searches but the 153 tooth flywheel didn't come up.. I'd say a phone...
