new guy with questions
hello everyone, just came across an old rod that needed to be rescued. I found this in a pasture right around the Fl-Ga line. I believe it to be a '28. Any info as well as tips, tricks, and what to look out for would be appreciated. I'm not new to the hotrodding world as I have to finish my 69 Camaro (again) before I can start on the new toy. Thanks to all.
CHAD
PS: sorry for the huge pics

Looks to be a 30-31 sedan in pretty decent condition.
If you are planning on running fenders or channeling the body, I'd use a model A frame. If fenderless then I think they look best on top of a 32 frame.
Get some books and see what looks the best to you, and build to to that.

From the pictures the cowl and body don't look like they are from the same year car. The body looks to be 28-29 Briggs and the cowl is 30 or 31 I think.

The body looks like a 28-29 while the cowl looks to be 30-31. My coupe and sedan are 31's and the cowl doesn't come apart right there the way your pics show it. The cowl still has the door hinges on it, that is for sure 30-31! Definitely two different years.

You guys are right, the front of the body curves forward at the bottom, definately 28/29. Cowl is 30/31.
