I have only been to a few, but I plan on going to quite a few soon. We did go up to springfield, I didn't find anything real important that I needed, but I did find a bunch of essential stuff that I had to have which was good.

The only one set in stone that I know we'll be attending is Nationals, which is in lexington I believe, is that correct?

There could be one in Lexington but I know there is a hot rod nationals in Louisville. Never been but plan on going this year.
As far as springfield goes, it is real good for muscle car parts but kind of hard to find some hot rod parts. This year was a bit of an exception more than usual.
Another good show to go to is the cruise in every friday night at the milford Kroger. All kinds of cars from early rods to lotus'. A lot of information can be obtained there.

Try this again, here is a pic after min. work, in this pic we are moving it over to a friends that has a lift in his garage to really get to work. This is before any body work, at this point we just have everything stable and the motor running

Real nice... Had a '46 once-- got it as a project car then sold it before I ever started on it... Now I wish I'd have kept it!!!

I'm with Dave nice as is. Like the flames with the flat black. Makes it look like it really is on fire!

Funny enough, more and more I work on it, the more the flat black is growing on me. Ill definitely roll around for awhile just in the flat back before I think about getting it painted. Ill get a thread up soon with most recent pics and things done (which has been a ton!)
