Old Car Man From Highland, Utah

My name is Con Brady, from Utah. I am 79 years of age, and have been
building\restoring old cars as a hobby for about 20 years. I just recently discovered Club Hot Rod and joined. The forums; galleries; information, etc.
are great! I wish I had known about this club years ago.
I have restored or built several cars, but have kept only four, am including
    pictures of them.
    1. 1930 Model A Custom. 350\350-mustang front and rear end-kept original
appearance as much as possible- came from Alaska-Cycle Mate custom trailer
    2. 1941 Mercury Custom Convert-built entirely by owner 9 years ago-'70
    Chevelle modified suspension-stereo & air-12 coats laquer paint-350\350
    3. 1953 Chev BelAir Sedan- restored to original in appearance and mechanical
    specs-Hampton Coach interior-recently added visor & continental kit-finished
20 years ago- featured in national chev assn magazine 1989
    4. 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convert- Rebuilt & restored in appearance

Welcome to CHR, Brady! Never to young to join. You have some mighty nice wheels in galllery. I especially like the Merc ragtop and the 31. Jump in anytime you have a question or want to comment. Glad to have you here.

    Hooray!

Con Brady. you have no idea how pleased I am to welcome you!

For quite some time now, and until you signed on yesterday, I have been the senior ("senior" to my way of thinking sounds better than "oldest") person privileged to participate in this fine group. I'll happily turn that distinction over to you and I'll promise you that you will like it here.

Incidentally, pretty soon I'll be "turning final" for the age of seventy six.

We all look forward to your input. You obviously have a lot to offer. Probably the first thing I noticed about this group was the courtesy extended to young people or beginners seeking advice or answers to questions. We don't want anybody to hesitate to ask a question because "it might sound dumb". I have never known even one of the people who contribute here to ridicule an honest question no matter how elementary it might seem, and that's sure as heck not the case with some other sites.

    Happy to have you!

Brady, welcome to the club. You sure have some nice cars. Love that 53 chevy. That was my first car I bought when I was 14 and learned to drive it on the back roads. Hell where have the years gone?
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Jim, this is just too funny. ROTFLMAO

Con, welcome to the club. Most of us old guys on here think it is incumbent on us to help guide and direct the younger ones. After all, there were many people who helped us along the way.
    Richard (67 next month).

Great board, you'll have fun here.
