Well, I just got my first car I think. My only problem is the parents !

A guy about....2 blocks from me is selling a 70's Mach 1 for $3500!!! It runs good and all, paintjob is stock and stock interior, he just wants to sell. If I can convince my parents to let me have it, I am taking it.

My parents keep on saying "You're only 15 you don't need a car, we will need insurance on it". If I buy a car, and drop it in my driveway, and run it ever so often I don't need insurance as long as I don't leave my driveway, correct?
