    HI all,
My name is Darrell and I have been an Automotive Paint Technician for 25 years, I am in the process of building a
    37ford tu-door humpback .
I havent worked on it for 3 years , but I have tig welded in a
TCI mustang II front suspension,Hand built the floor boards,
hand built the fire wall, and installed rear end.
This is as far as I gotten as I cant say no to my friends with their cars.

    Welcome aboard Darrell,

I can sympathize with your plight. Until I sold my shop late last year, I had precious little time to work on the fun stuff too. Fortunately, now I'm making progress on two of them. Hope you can find a way to get back after that '37, and come back to visit us from time to time.

    Hello Again,
Sorry I havent posted in so long .
I have been lurking & working on my rod & thought I'd give an update.

I have taken out the leaf springs & 10 bolt & went 9" - 3:00 gears, auburn posi unit with 31 spline axles, 11" disc breaks , on an Air Ride Tech Triangulated 4 link , with Shockwaves up front & back.
    Santa brought a crate 330HP/350 & a crate 700R4 tranny.
    Busy, busy busy.
hope to have it on the road by july of this year.

Welcome to the club! The picture looks great. I'm really fond of the square wood driveshaft! I hope you used treated lumber!

Starting to look good Darrell. Boy Santa was good to you, a crate motor & tranny. Well,,,,, all except that wooden driveshaft. I think I would let him know about that one for sure!!!

Hey, you don't happen to own a wood lathe by any chance do ya?

I see the pic now ,as I changed my style setting and it worked this time.
I have had some problems with this forum as I havent been able to see the home page since i joined.
But now i can since i changed to default setting.

I figured I'd get a little ribbing with the 4x4 drive shaft , but thought I'd whittle it round when I fire it up ............LOL

Well guys I think I'm going to get rid of the Ol Beast. Havent even been in the garage since the first of June.
I have had it for almost 6 years but only have worked on it for about 2-1/2 years, After 30 years of working on cars I have major BURN OUT

Plus I dont have a title and dont feel like jumping through hoops to get a title here in Ks.

I could care less if I ever see another car ! I guess all the freebe friends cars , and the freebe crap at work have taken their toll ................

I have around 20K in it , and if some one would offer me a good price, and come get it out of my garage , its gone.

    Now DW...........................relax...................take a deep breath.............that's better.

Seriously, sit on that idea for a while. You might be surprised that it could pass, and then you might regret getting rid of the toy. I know what you mean, been through that phase a few times over the years. But it always seems to go away, and caritis comes back. At least wait until after the holidays!
