Duh, I'm not smart enough to look for a gallery! I love those '33-34 plymouth coupes. Make such nice hot rods when fenderless like yours. They also look chopped even when stock.

Don, Steve - Thanks for the good words. It's always nice to hear good stuff about something you take some pride in doin. I like the '33 - 34's too for that chopped look and the suicide doors (and the Mopar thing!) also. This car has some drag racing and show history from the 60's. It is cool. I have some pictures of this back in its day. I also have a name of one of the guys that did some wrenching on the car back then.

Welcome to CHR, Bryan!! A friend of mine just sold his 34 5wc last year, sure was a beauty. Wish I could have taken it off his hands, but the selling price was a little over my asset level. Nice to see your interest in old Mopars. They are getting more popular with passing time. Never used to see many at events, but now there are always at least a half dozen different models.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

Steve, Thanks for the head swellin. The little guy would be my reason for gettin that car. That is Jesse, my 10 year old son. (pic of him at the strip with his 1st love when he was 8) He is so wanting to help build this car. I hope he keeps the interest. I told him I would support any car he wanted to build, but I was personally partial to mopars. He chose them too on the account, his Grandfather loved them, so he wanted too also.
My Dad, rest his lovin soul, has been gone for 4 years now and he still has an effect on my son. What an impression he has made. I'm so proud of Jesse, and I'm also fortunate to have a son that has the drive to build old cars. After we bought that car (the day of those pics) he said "Dad, I bet Pop would like to see this!" as he stood in that body of the '34. Anyway, I'll be around here now. Keep you posted on the build. Gotta get that '48 done for now, Summer is comin.
    Bryan.
