    hello from uk

     



    just a quick hi from the me
    mainly into vw's (it's a work thing )
    but have a few projects on the go at the moment
    including a mopar powered vw van

    Welcome to CHR, sounds like a neat project, put us up some pics sometime!!! I've seen V-Dubs powered by everything else, why not a Mopar????? Sound kewl!

    Welcome to CHR! Shouldn't come as a surprise but over here on the west side of the big pond we have to deal with rust too. Interesting project..mopar in a v-dub. That really is a mid engine design. What size mopar you putting in it? Keep us posted with your build. Looks kind of kool.

    Yup, it fits!!!! Sure is going to be a kewl ride, keep us updated on your progress!!!!! A Mopar powered V-Dub would be a blast on either side of the pond!!!! Sure is good to see someone building something unique!!!!

    theres been a bit of progress since these were taken

    i'm glad people approve

    it's 318 la mopar box ,narrowed jaguar rear axle ...

    HA ha ... well i cut the whole floor out and scratch built the
    chassis , then widened the body by about 5 inches ....
    the front from the bulkhead forward is all lightened
    vw , the engine and box came from an ex us air force dodge ram
    the rear axle i know very little about ,it's a narrowed jag and was removed
    from a drag car due to a upgrade ,don't even know the ratios !!!
    guess i'll find out on it's first run out

    don't know really what it is , i mean hot rod ? street rod ? crazy ?
    but i really fancy a wheelstander ,so it might get modified even more yet !!
