    Smile Hello from Iowa

I'm always cruising to find more streetrod/muscle car forums. Always learning something, and it sure beats hanging out in front of the television. I have a 34 Ford 3-window coupe, glass body, ZZ4 350, TH400 Trans, Mustang 8.8 Posi rear.

Welcome aboard! Just sent some headers to Cool Coatings Concepts in Amana, IA for ceramic coating. Are you near there?

Thanks to all of you for the welcome. I don't have many skills when it comes to the rods (that and my age is why I had to buy one ready to go), but I am always listening in to learn something. I needed a ride that I could cruise in right away, and am still comtemplating trying to build something on my own, with help from many brothers and friends. May never get it finished, but would enjoy the process. In the meantime, I'm changing, modifiying, and adding to my coupe, to personalize it to my liking. Looking forward to forums with you folks.

Dave...Just met Lloyd last fall, when I put my 34 in one of his car shows. Entered just to enjoy the experience of being a participant, rather than the usual spectator, and was totally surprised when my 34 won 2nd place streetrod as the people's choice. I left Sioux City 40 years ago (Colorado) and just returned after retirement. Lloyd is a great guy. If you played ball with him, you may also know one of my brothers. Maybe I can catch up with you at one of the shows.

Geezer2....Amana is about 300 miles east of me. Been there for the tourist stuff, but didn't know that Cool Coatings was there. A very small town of about 400 people, but it isn't far from Cedar Rapids.
