Welcome to CHR, Nitro!! Super fine looking ride you've got there. I thought the car looked familiar, probably from NSRA pix. It's always surprising (and great) to see the number of hotrods and street rods in the UK and in other European countries. Quited a few in the Netherlands too. Hope you enjoy your stay here as much as you are enjoying that beautiful coupe.

    Update on my ride 10/9/08

    Hi
Thought I would update on my steel 1931 A which I have just got back on the road after 3 months work repairing/repainting the front and rear fenders and running boards. The rear fenders have also been bobbed.
I also repaired the Grill shell, remodeled the splash apron to follow the contours of the grill shell and fitted a Vintique stainless steel insert.
I have also fitted a set of 31 Model A Vintique stainless headlights to replace the 7" dietz units.
At the same time I rebuilt the XKE IRS with new poly bushes in lower arms, new bearings, UJ's, disc's and pads and a full rechrome.
On the engine I have replaced the intake and carb for Edelbrock Endurashine items together with Billet Specialities Valve covers and Air filter and replacing all fuel lines with Aeroquip hoses & fittings.
Inside I have replaced the 46 Ford instrument cluster for a set of Autometer gauges in the 32 Filled dash.
Future plans are to respray the whole car in a colour yet to be decided.
    Hope you like it?
