I guess I overlooked posting here. I have been watching the scene from the fringes since my first issue of Hot Rod in '61. Ran a '60 chevy 2dr ht for several years, several engines, several trannys and several rear ends learning how to twist wrenches. Did a few years in the USN working aircraft radials during our viet nam time, and finally went back to school for a ME degree. Now I'm a gray hair, and visited Pete & Jakes a few weeks back still trying to resist the urge to build my first ground up street rod. I love roadsters, but with the mid-west weather I also need to be able to close up, too. Torn between a 32 roadster/cabriolet and the 34 chopped coupe. First things first, the barn floor is getting concrete this week which will get me out of the gravel Shortly it will be decision time.....
