    Newbie from Connecticut.

Just wanted to say hey from CT. Found this forum while doing a search for some hot rod stuff. I have spent some time lurking and thought it was time to join in the fun.

I am 38, married with two young girls. I own a 47 Ford coupe that we really enjoy as a family. We go to some local shows as well as NSRA York and Burlington as well as Goodguys in Rhinebeck.

I am a technical rep for a auto paint distributer.(PPG)

Looking forward to talking to you all......

    Hot Rod47,

Welcome to CHR!! That's a great looking car you have, and I really like what you did with the valve covers and air cleaner. Really looks sharp! I nearly bought one that looked very similar to yours back in 2001 at the Columbus Goodguys event. Price was good and the car was just finished, only problem was that I fallen in love with another and didn't need two. Just another regret in my long life.

I'm always at the York Nats, but it helps being only 20 miles away. Have yet to go to Rhinebeck or Burlington. Maybe one of these days. Next up for me is the Southeast Nats in Tampa.

Now that you're here, jump into the fray whenever you like. We're glad to have you.
    Bob

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!
