    Howdy from Houston

As some of us in Texas say - Howdy. Glad to find y'all. My son and I have been working our 54 truck project for 4.5 years now. Got some pics in the picturetrail album link in my sig. Would welcome comments. Almost ready to final paint but it seems I have been saying that for quite awhile.

Also have a 58 project waiting for the 54 to get out of the garage. It will have a big window cab, fatman IFS, and built 454/TH400. May swap the motor/trans for a 350/700R4 I have sitting around instead though. The oil well in the back yard may not last forever you know.
Some mistakes are too much fun to make just once.

Welcome to CHR Houston 54. Nice looking 54. Your right about the grill. Didn't realise what it was until you mentioned it. What color are you going to finish it in?
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
