Saying Hello from IN!
Hello Everybody! I'm kinda new to the Street Rodding scene, but I've been involved with cars for a long time. I presently own a 1932 Chevy Sedan with a 350 TPI engine. It was given to me after my father passed away 3 years ago. He had purchased it about a year before he died, but it was built by somone else unknown to me. I am in the process of doing some much needed maintenance and have gathered some questions about some of the components on the car. The brake brackets on the front axle as well as the front wheel bearing spacers have a "barefoot" logo stamped onto them. Would someone like to direct me to which of the forums might be the best to inquire about who manufactured components with such a logo on them and where one might be able to get replacements? Thanks in advance.

I bet some of your dad's "car friends" might be able to tell you something about the car, who owned it or who built it. Once they've heard them, guys usually remember those sorts of details.
We did end up finding part of the problem, we did not put O-rings on the distributor shaft which was sending oil up the shaft instead of sending it to the lifters, adding O-rings quieted it down but...
