Welcome aboard Brett.
Nice job on the car, probably ticks off the Alfisti.
You're obviously a talented and commited builder. Many with less talent should take to heart your comments about the body work involvedYour Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Thanx for the welcome and the kind words guys
I also post at an Alfa board and they love the car. Never heard a bad word said about from any of the alfisti what so ever. Wish I could say as much about some rodders tho
Although I've been interested in rodding for some 20 years now this is the first rod that I've built.
Before I started I had very little experience with most facets of rod building like fiber glassing, welding, chassis design, spray painting etc etc.
Also, I'm sad to say, I received very little help from any of the guys in my club and I'm sure that most of them thought I was just nut case anyway.
Looking back on things I think that being somewhat naive was a real asset because I didn't know what I couldn't do. I would just get stuck in and give things a go and eventually things would work out as they must if you persevere.
Today I know a lot more about rod building than I did 8 years ago and the next car I build is gunna be a real crakker.Bye for now,
Brett.

Bcal... I am very impressed with your work and fabrication skills... No doubt you have built a "one of a kind" rod... Welcome to CHR...

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
